The Swedish Vallhund is a breed with a smaller than average frame that is well built. It has a short torso that features a muscular and very straight back. Its chest is elongated for its size and features ribs that are well sprung. It has a long head with a wedge-shaped muzzle. The ears are set above eye level and "v" shaped. It has a definite stop.
