 SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERRIER DESCRIPTION
The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier has a well-proportioned body that is sturdy and strong. The breed is well known for its coat that is profuse over its entire body. The coat is not wooly, but lies flat against its body. The fur on the face obstructs the eyes somewhat. It should have a tuft of fur under its chin that gives it the appearance of having a beard. Its head is long and broad. Its muzzle is long and with a well-defined stop. Its eyes are average in size and its nose is prominent. Both features are dark in color. The neck on this breed is average in length and transitions at a clean angle to its straight back. The tail is set in line with the back and docked. The limbs are well muscled. The front legs are positioned straight under the breed. The back legs are moderately angled.  Read More
