 SCOTTISH TERRIER DESCRIPTION
The Scottish Terrier has a clean-cut and sturdy appearance. The breed has classic Terrier features and those distinct to it. Its head and muzzle are both long. There is a prominent stop. The nose is prominent and the eyes are small. Its ears are also small and set high on its head. The coat is one of its distinguishing features. The outer layer is coarse and wiry while the bottom layer is smooth. The coat has a trimmed look. It is most profuse at the muzzle, legs, and underbelly. The breed's neck is not very long. It extends to its strong back. This breed's chest is wide and deep. The legs are short, but well muscled. The front legs stand straight.
