 PHARAOH HOUND DESCRIPTION |
The Pharaoh Hound is an elegant-looking breed. Its body is lean, but well proportioned. Its limbs were developed to provide it with fast and agile movement. The legs, in particular, are very strong. The front legs are straight. The back legs are angular with lean and muscular hocks. The neck is elongated and slightly angles to a back that is slightly sloping to the hocks. Its tail hangs low, past the hocks. The tail is narrow and pointed at the end. The sprung rib cage is definitely visible from the breed's profile. Its chest is deep and strong. Its ears stand erect at the top of its head. The ears are triangular in shape. Its coat is smooth and lies close to its body.
