The furry. Luxurious coat of the Havanese is most likely the breed's most familiar characteristic of its appearance. The coat is unusual for a doublecoat because it is the same texture at both levels. Fur just about obstructs the facial features. Underneath the fur, the facial features are medium in size and dark. The Havanese has a small stature, but is no weakling The breed's body is very strong and capable. The tail of the breed is set high and usually lies against the back.
