The Golden Retriever is an all around attractive breed. It is large and muscular, yet it has a delicate appearance. The body is well muscled and covered with a stiff coat that lies close to the body. The coat is waterproof and is most profuse at the tail. The skull is large and features a broad muzzle. The ears fold down the sides of its head. The eyes are medium sized and usually black or brown.
