The Norwegian Buhund is a breed with a "boxy" build. It is longer than it is tall. The back is straight to the tail, which slightly curls backwards. It elongated neck transitions in shape, but without much pointedness. It has a definite stop. Its facial features are dark, The ears are set high and are triangular in shape.
