There are two characteristics of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that stand out: its tender-looking eyes and its luxurious coat.. The eyes are large, dark brown, and spaced wide apart. The coat is long and wavy. The fluffy ears are set high, but hang down low and are usually the color of the predominant color of the coat. The torso is short and level, but is supported by strong hind legs and sturdy front legs. The tail flows straight from the body and hangs naturally according to the motion of the dog. Both the neck and shoulders are angular with slightly deepness. The chest is broad.
