| The Kangal Dog has massive features. Its body is very heavy and muscular. Its head is massive with large ears that drop forward. It has a black mask. Its nose and eyes are black. The skull is square. Its neck is elongated and thick. The breed stands on straight front and back legs. Its chest is deep and features a rib cage that is well sprung. Its tail is set low and curls upward over its back. The breedтАЩs coat is very thick and short. |

| Despite its nature to protect, the Kangal Dog is not an aggressive breed. It is very serious about making sure its family is safe. It will generally not attack intruders, unless it feels the life of its family is threatened. Guests who are welcomed by its family will not be treated as intruders, but the breed will act cautious around them. The breed is fine with children, but supervision is recommended when the breed is playing with young children. The breed was developed as a guardian of flock and is always attentive to its surroundings. It is very devoted and loving. |
