| Description |
| The Bullmastiff is a commanding breed developed to guard and protect. The breed has a muscular build. It has muscular back that is straight with shoulder that slope. It has a massive head with a wide muzzle. Its nose is larger than average and its eyes are average in size. The breed's ears are somewhat small and triangular in shape. Its neck is thick, well muscled, and angular. The front legs are straight. The back legs feature muscular hocks and thighs. |

| Although the Bullmastiff is generally an easy-going breed, it is not pleasant with other dogs. It is usually aloof with strangers. It is an effective guard dog. Training the breed is important so that it will coexist peacefully with other pets and children. This breed enjoys spending time with its family, but it is not outwardly expressive. |
